coarse yarns, substantial hand |

Both towels arrived with enough slubs. Certain sections of the weave showcased stems left over from the retting process. So why four stars and not fewer? Unlike other 100% linen towels offered elsewhere, these towels are heavyweights with a substantial hand. Sewn loop provides for ease of storage and adds a touch of elegance. Absorbent as the natural oils of the yarn appear to have been removed by factory washing. Despite the towels having been pre-washed, I took them through a cold cycle before use with Biokleen Free & Clear Laundry Powder with an additional scoop of baking soda as a lightweight booster. The motto for these towels is essentially more of a lesser quality linen yarn versus less of a finer quality yarn. Whether you towel off quickly and aggressively, or prefer to linger and lounge after bathing, this towel will suit your needs as a bang-for-the-buck option.

Thoughtfully Designed and Beautifully Made |

These handsome linen towels are vastly superior to ordinary cotton terry towels. They are thoughtfully constructed. Towels of this generous size can be challenging to hang but Linoto has cleverly sewn in a hanger loop. Also the fabric is an attractive basket weave that absorbs water quickly and stimulates the skin as it dries. As with other products I have ordered from Linoto the spa towels arrived beautifully packaged in environmentally friendly wrapping.
